i have this cool 60's italian silver glitter electric guitar...it has a row of pickup buttons on it that look like they belong on a blender!
michael / 2006-07-17 00:08:43wow, really? what brand is that? That's the exact kind of guitar I love. My pick is probably a jazzmaster personally.
andrew / 2006-07-17 00:12:47i have a black epiphone acoustic guitar that i enjoy a lot, though i haven't played it in probably over a year because i haven't been bothered to buy new strings. yeah, i should get on that one eventually.
elisha / 2006-07-17 02:19:24um, how bout one that sounds nice? er- my fiance has a glen burton acoustic and his friend has an acoustic from 1968 that sounds much better than his. I'm not sure the brand though...
zoot / 2006-07-17 09:43:01I'm a fan of the old Teisco Del Rays for their innate masochism (they scream, "Spray paint me! Glue action figures to me! Bend my neck in lieu of whammy bar action!"). But my favorite is a 1959 Gibson E-175. Very buttery tones. If the USA's mid-1990's TV commercials are to be believed, declaring the phrase, "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter," causes Fabio to appear, locks flowing. No such luck yet, though.
John Nick / 2006-07-17 13:10:33Hah yeah, the Teiscos are nice. I think there are other crazy gutars I like more aesthetically, but I did almost bid on a couple of Teiscos a while ago on Ebay, a matching pair that were super cheap. Then I was like wait, I have no money.
Andrew / 2006-07-17 13:20:10Fisher Price 'Lil Shredder' 4-string, with built-in Yngwie WankerBar and kitty-shaped humbucker. I've made all of this up, sadly.

ann-frank / 2006-07-17 22:52:53Ukelele? You continue to be hilarious, King Andrew. I love the Hamburgershop entry.

Nephthys / 2006-07-25 09:37:55Hamburgershop! (no guitar)
bboyo / 2006-07-25 20:18:02I was just reading an old entry where you were scared of dying from a hot dog and this is what I wanted to say about that: There is a WICKED new Hot Dog place in the "Province" of Calgary called "Tubby Dog". You can get an "A-Bomb" which has ketchup, mustard, cheese sauce, bacon, and potato chips (bbq mixed with salt & vinegar). Also they have a "sushi dog" with wasabi on it, turkey/veggie varaitions, the "Uker" which is a deep fried/wrapped dog AND the "Peanut butter and Jelley dog" that you can get Captain Crunch cereal added to for kicks! BEST after-bar food ever!!! How do I stay skinny I don't know!?! Must be the booze...
Not a guitar / 2006-07-28 11:34:26Either my turquoise metalflake Danelectro 56-U3, or the guitar my boyfriend assembled from various components and named the Frankentar. It is uglier than dirt, but sounds bad-ass. XO Violet

33333 / 2006-07-29 12:10:52Gretsch Electromatic, Silver Sparkle... the one Billy Zoom plays. I copied him, the gear only; I can't actually play like him, but who can?.
Kitty / 2006-08-04 03:26:03shitty telecaster to best play nirvana covers and pop zits upon circa 1995, k thx.
eBeth / 2006-08-09 10:50:23The URL is to my blog on blogthat.net, although I was thinking of switching over. Except I think my username is taken. T_T Btw, that entry- hilariuos. XDD Loved it. =) I don't play any instruments at all. >.> I know, I know, mucho sucko.
Sairah / 2006-08-16 01:20:49I have a Melancon Pro Artist 'T', which is based on the old Fender telecaster. It's Lake Placid blue, I had to special order it to get that paint job. I think it's literally the same kind of paint they use to paint cars. Swamp ash, 'tone chambers', and dimarzio pickups.
TJ / 2006-08-17 17:33:34Adobe Hamburgershop! Ha!
Isabelle / 2006-08-17 23:14:36my favourite guitar is my once-broken, left-on-a-rainy-back-porch, friend-repaired-yet-not-quite-straight accoustic made by a company called Takeharu. Or that's the brand name. Or something. Trying to play really high notes gives this dead rattly twang because the neck is still so bent and the biggest string wants to slip off the neck which isn't straight either. This guitar was with me when my next-to-last girlfriend left me and got me to sleep many a night. At first I didn't even really like it that much but now it is my most prized posession. It plays sadly, but with a lot of heart. Imperfect, but very true. It is my favourite guitar.
carl / 2006-11-17 18:18:39Ha! You're bloody brilliant, did you know that? Of course you did. Oh, and: Well, a Les Paul, of course. Why has no one named Les Paul?
