Hey, don't make fun of us geeks. I am a 54 year ol grandmother and I recently spent $129.00 for the complete 8 seasons of Charmed. Of course they kicked more ass than MacGyver, with all that witch stuff. I thought that was a good deal. It's okay that the copyright notice is in Chinese and there are little chinese characters written on the disks. They play well. I just have to remember not to put them in my mouth.

yeah! "i wish they still make shows like MacGyver." I remember seeing that series when i was younger, our family was addicted to it.

i had drinks with justin winokur last night, and while we were waiting to leave we were forced to watch csi: miami. justin got SO irritated with the television. he pretended like it wasn't even there. me, i could not stop watching, even though i HATE csi. hate. (i call it cop porn. cop porn is any tv show that fantasizes about and fetishizes authority, particularly all-knowing, all-competent cops who stride around confidently making pronouncements on the guilt or innocence of total strangers based on the dna evidence of a hair sample or a smudge on a glass table at the scene of the crime. actually, you could say that mcgyver is a type of cop porn.)
