when i was in junior high, my family moved into a house by a forest. i was terrified that the previous rodent residents would come for me. and why not? we built a house in their hood. and we had a doggy door that was perfectly raccoon sized. i kept pushing all the knives to the backs of drawers in order to thwart an attempt on my life with those incredibly opposable thumbs. ohhh god. i think i'm drunk.
