Oh man, so I went to my doctor the other day, and because it seems like maybe I eat just a tad bit horrendously, he put me on this Atkins diet thing, mostly to regulate my sugar intake. This diet basically sounds crazy but I guess must make sense, because it means I can't eat anything bready or sugary, which stops me from riding what the doctor calls "the sugar rollercoaster".
Turns out though that the sugar rollercoaster is a really fun ride! I really miss the highs and lows, and the donut-shaped curves in between, and I've only been trying to eat on this Atkins thing for 2 days (and I've already cheated the crap out of it, my excuse being that I haven't really read the book yet too closely so I'm not officially started). Anyway, I used to think the Atkins diet was some big crazy scam, because the main thing about it is that you eat as much meat and fat as you want, but apparently it may not be such a scam, as evidenced by the misery and pain it has brought me. Like tonight, around 11pm I got pretty hungry, and you know what the only thing I could find to snack on that the Atkins diet says is okay was? Bacon! Isn't that crazy, bacon? I mean come on, bacon! Bacon. No really, bacon. Whatup with that bacon, bacon! Bacon bacon.
I used to think I really liked bacon until I just had to eat it in non-sandwich form, with no ketchup or syrup, and you know what? Bacon sucks. I'm not a huge pork fan really, and I never really thought about how porky bacon is until tonight, and it blows. It doesn't help that it was microwave bacon though without much fat, but still, what a crappy food. Can we do something about this? Pigs: Seriously, I am very disappointed with you guys, why can't you be deliciouser, like cows.
Anyhow, that's all that's new with me, trying to avoid being sick by avoiding carbohydrates basically. But if any carbohydrates are reading this, I really love you guys, it's nothing personal, I MISS U GUYZ!
p.s. now I really think about it, maybe it was just cause it was microwave bacon. I'm a putz.
