Today a goose crapped on my head as it flew by, so I am hereby revoking my vote for "the Canadian Goose" as "the Greatest Canadian" and instead I am voting for "Burton Cummings".
I love "the Greatest Canadian" because of how great all the people nominated for it are, the word "great" is absolutely used correctly in every instance. Tim Horton for instance (no. 59) was great because he sold the rights to his name to a doughnut chain that never actually has more than 4 of their flavours available at any one time. Dan Aykroyd (no. 82) is great because he was on Saturday Night live 50 years ago and since then has taught us that you don't have to be funny to be a famous comedian. John Molson (no. 92) is great because he is a beer, and beer makes you drunk.
