Sounds like it's time for a shrimp omelette! I'll even make it for ya ;)
Melody / 2003-05-15 01:20:12Mm, try shrimp a.s.a.p. but stay away from egg. Egg is awful.
Stephanie / 2003-05-15 01:23:48i love you. will you marry me? gay marriage will be legal soon in canada. *hugz*
derwy / 2003-05-15 01:32:17No, no. You need to boil yourself an egg and just eat the egg white. Hard boiled eggs are even better when they're decked out with paints and dyes. Why am I saying this? Johnathan Winters should have told you about the wonders of eggs by now!
Melissa / 2003-05-15 01:32:37You know, don't eat EITHER! Because next time you're at a party with a bunch of losers and they start playing that "I never" drinking games you can wait until everybody else has played their usual "I've never gone skinny dipping" and "I've never woken up in another area code with my pants around my ankles" cards and then you can whip out "I've never eaten SHRIMP!" and be all, "HAHA!" and then everybody will groan and have another sip and then, in the next go-round, if you haven't won already, you can pull out the REALLY big guns and go "AND I've never eaten an EGG!" I guess it would help if you actually go to that kind of party, and being that you're over 15, probably you don't, but MAN, you could make a KILLING.
Erin / 2003-05-15 01:32:57If you are just not begging for a shrimp/egg OMLET I do not even KNOW what you are doing here, sailor!
ann-frank / 2003-05-15 01:51:48of course, sometimes omlet is sometimes spelled in the proper way when whoever is trying to leave a lame message in your comments is not, you know drunk -so such proper things migt lead to a spelling which just might be "omelette" and things, but don't let that distract you from the message!
a-f / 2003-05-15 01:55:24my advice, don't try either. both are nasty. of course, that is just my opinion and you don't have to listen to me. and i do find it funny that i hate most seafood even though i live in alaska.
foolish-soul / 2003-05-15 03:53:13lets dress up as sheep.
mel / 2003-05-15 04:25:06Shrimp is great, but just be careful, I enjoyed shrip, lobster, clams, and then all of a sudden I was haveing bad reactions to them. It started out as cramping in my upper back and now its not being able to breathe and my body doing whatever it takes to get rid of it. So enjoy if your body tolerates it, but start out slow to make sure. LOL and maybe you shouldnt do what I did, I was just hoping that my allergy was a figment of my imagination. Ok, my blonde is showing. :P
Angel / 2003-05-15 05:36:05Dude, you are really missing out. On both, really you are. The interesting thing is that both can be prepared as a fine cuisine and be great foods or can taste really really bad if prepared in the hands of a moron. So, if you ever feel the urge to try some new foods... avoid the morons...
Azimel / 2003-05-15 06:18:41Hi Andrew! How weird... when did you join this planet? ;-)) All the best, Charis :-)
Charis / 2003-05-15 07:23:50Maybe you should try one or the other. That way you can have a really good streak going, but satisfy some of your curiosity, too :)
Jenn / 2003-05-15 10:01:47how have you never had eggs or shrimp???? shrimp are excellent, definitely get on that one. eggs are... eggs. i think you could give eggs a miss for a couple more years and be completely fine. but if you ever decide to be a vegetarian, they are the easiest source of protein and healthy cholesterol ever.
zostrich / 2003-05-15 10:43:52Shrimp eggs. It's the only acceptable compromise.
Justin / 2003-05-15 10:55:41i've never eaten an egg, either. they look just so....yucky.
kris / 2003-05-15 12:20:39Ok. I usually don't like eggs except scrambled eggs with cheese. It's yummy. Shrimp is ok, but don't get boiled shrimp! I think it's gross.
Tamara / 2003-05-15 13:04:52You need to try Deviled Eggs. They're really *really* tasty, of course a cheese and veggy omlette is very yummy too... Ans shrimp done in garlic butter... with fried potato wedges and sauted veggies on the side... MMMMM. Ok, I'm drooling now...
politika / 2003-05-15 14:23:53I'm on a no-shrimp streak, too! Twenty one years and counting. They freak me out. They look waaaay too much like their original form for me to be comfortable eating them. And that form is ugly to begin with. I say you're better off without them. And eggs...well, either way. They're not my favorite, either.
Cathie / 2003-05-15 14:45:55I think you can live without eggs, but shrimp is another matter. I just started eating it a year ago (I'm 25 now), along with lobster, and I realize I was missing out. I recommend barbeque shrimp. Then you can start a new streak, a shrimp streak.
Mary Grace / 2003-05-15 15:10:41At first I thought you meant you'd never actually had an egg. In that you've never layed eggs. Heh. I was confused.
Laura / 2003-05-15 18:04:18I think I agree with the overall consenus here, stay away from the eggs, but please do try the shrimp... I like it in it's simplest form, shrimp cocktail with a good sauce. Fried shrimp is also good, along with shrimp sashimi if you're feeling brave ;)
BlueSwoon / 2003-05-15 20:30:43Stay away from shrimp and eggs. Both are icky, not necessary for survival, and cause the death and/or suffering of an animal. (And yes, the chickens do suffer, as the only reason they produce so many eggs is due to force molting and such.)
Little Miss Vegan / 2003-05-15 21:14:09i still think we should dress up as sheep.
mel / 2003-05-15 21:33:12hummm. Barbeque shrimp. Kinda sounds good really.
Tamara / 2003-05-16 00:14:29just be sure to take out that little string of shrimp poo poo that is nestled along the shrimp's "spine."
kim / 2003-05-16 17:38:31It's too late for you to eat eggs or shrimp. If you eat them now you will do some serious damage to your digestive system and might possibly be fatal. Hahaha, just kidding! Or am I... No, I'm kidding. Go eat some shrimp. I'm a doctor so I should know. Or am I....
K / 2003-05-16 21:33:13Keep it man. You can do it your right you've gone this long so why mess that up now. Besides shrimp is not that great. I am orginally from Louisiana so believe me I know. And I have eaten eggs like 2 or 3 before and they are DISGUSTING!!
celetra / 2003-05-16 23:10:24shrimp is evil. it made me swell up like i had gained forty pounds.
jillian / 2003-05-17 01:34:22Oh.. I feel like I'm not alone in the world anymore. I've never eaten shrimp or eggs either! I'll stick to good things like... chocolate. Tee hee.
Linds / 2003-05-17 03:13:30aaahhhh i LOVE shrimp! you're missing out dude
stephanie / 2003-05-17 20:03:35I have never eaten: shrimp, any sea food EXCEPT cod fish, bacon, sunflower seeds, kiwis, coconut cookies (girl scouts etc),crutons, hot pockets... I can't think of anything else right now, but I have a very limited food diet. Oh yeah, i have never ate those soft pretzels, ranch sauce, tobasco sauce..I am a vegetarian, but I never ate steak back when I ate meat. Damn, no wonder i'm skinny. I never realized I was so deprived.
Jessica / 2003-05-18 04:20:23i've never eaten bread
noisia / 2003-05-18 16:59:20I'm a shrimp virgin too.
Nell / 2003-05-19 13:35:09I live in New Orleans, which is where shrimp are prepared the way they ought to be. Once, I was in Canada, and had what you freaks call shrimp, and they were terrifying. So if you have no plans on leaving Canada, keep that shrimp streak going. However, if you were to find yourself down here, then by all means, eat some shrimp. There is nothing on earth like a fried shrimp po-boy. And also once, my friend from Canada proudly boasted of the fact that he'd never puked in his life EVER. But then he came to visit me New Orleans, where drinking is the religon, and he puked! Ha Ha Ha! The moral of the story? New Orleans can break anyone of anything. And also, eggs aren't worth it. Unless it's super-good Eggs Benedict.
goosepants / 2003-05-22 09:18:57who the fuck makes shrimp egg omeletts? frigging american ignorants!
melissa / 2003-05-23 22:29:12yep, i live in Louisiana and I hate shrimp. Trust me you arent missing out on anything.
aimee / 2003-05-24 22:52:53Eh. You're not missing anything fun. Besides, have you ever seen Tommy Boy? David Spade orders that shrimp cocktail and the shrimp still has all kinds of crud in it? Gross.
Eve / 2003-06-03 19:33:39There are only two words here: SHRIMP RING Shrimp is one class act my friend, and intrinsic to all social graces. If you care not for class and social graces, I recommend a Colt 45, a shrimp ring and a whole lot of pop rocks. It is the second best thing to dignity.
Seribella / 2003-07-30 18:43:22i believe in streaks too....in all my 18 years of life i've never seen willywonka and i wear this like a badge of honour.
