andrew's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Donald, CD reviews I was trying to think of why my diary is so boring, and I think it's because of a lack of recurring characters other than myself in it. But what can I do, my grandchildren refuse to let me write about them! (Oh but the hijinks they get up to on the tire swing out by the orchard, I could tell stories for hours! Sorry guys!). That got to me to thinking, maybe I should just make up some lovable, wacky character who I could write about all the time, and that'd make it easier to update more often. I couldn't think of one though, so I asked my zany great-uncle Donald what I should do. "Oh little Andrew," he said is his adorable little lisp, "don't boffer wif making up peoples, just tell the www about me!". And then he pulled his pants down, and he was wearing another pair of pants underneath them. WHAT THE? OH WELL! I guess that's just my zany great-uncle Donald for you, always with the crazy hijinks!
Also here is my quick CD roundup since I've gotten some new CDs lately and I need to fill this out: - The Jayhawks, Rainy Day Music : Kind of good, kind of boring. The bonus CD has some songs way better than some on the album, weird! - Shari Elf, I'm forcing Goodness Upon You. : I really, really like this CD. "Seamstress" is the best use of a sewing machine in a song I've heard in a long time. Catchy and good songs. - Jane's Addiction, Nothing's Shocking: Not really new, but I always had the cassette, and I saw the CD cheap so I got it. I forgot how awesome Perry Farrell was for a while, I wish I was more like him. I guess I have an excuse for not being from California or most of the other things that make him cool, but really, not having a heroin addiction is just my own damn fault.
