I had another stir-fry tonight because I had some meat still from the package of stir-fry beef I bought, so I wanted to use it before it got old. I put in some lemons and apples and celery with it, and frankly it just wasn't that good, apples don't really go with that stuff. Or lemons.
Frustrating night otherwise, Diaryland's network provider was supposed to have some emergency downtime for repairs at 3am, but instead it happened for a while right during the busiest time of the night for the site, I guess the switch involved completely broke before it got repaired. I spent an especially frustrating hour of this time on the phone between my bank and Paypal trying to figure out Paypal's stupid new international accounts policy (I can receive money no problem, just actually getting it into my grubby hands seems to involve a whole lot of hassles) so Diaryland could raise some much much needed dough, with no real positive results other than a distinct, not figurative, pain in my neck. [ this space was mercifully spared of some complaining about more boring stuff like that ]
You know how new years resolutions always fail? Well I have decided to just make my resolutions in mid-february instead this year, which I figure guarantees I will keep them for a long time (at least till mid to late february). This year I think my main one is to update my diary a lot, even if the entries are garbage like this one, and to watch a lot more TNN. Cause I GOT POP! But really, TNN is pretty great right now, with Rollerjam and 16 Wheels of Justice AND Miami Vice AND a show called Monster Jam with monster trucks. Now, I have to admit that I haven't actually seen Monster Jam yet, but I am pretty sure it's going to rule for two reasons:
1. It's about monster trucks. Or "the trucks" as I like to say.
2. It's called MONSTER JAM. That name tells me that the action is going to be loud and roaring and SUPER JAMMING. If they had called it MONSTER TRUCKS or something, I wouldn't have high hopes, but let's face it, anything with JAM at the end obviously not only rocks, but rocks very, very hard. Like Rollerjam! And obviously Monster Jam. Can I even handle MONSTER JAM? I guess I'll have to find out this friday at 10, or maybe saturday or sunday if I miss that. (I miss a lot of TV, I don't have a Tivo, or a Palm Pilot, or even a good set of Postit stickies to write reminders on. I have a lot of lemons and a money-eating, blood-sucking website. It's the Canadian way!).
So that's it for now, I am going to go lie in bed and moan in pain for a while, I've only put in an hour or so of that so far today! Happy Trails!
